I love banana bread, and the comforting flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg. With fall fast approaching, I’m so excited to get back into baking and all the flavors of autumn. But, we’re not quite ready to end summer here in Vancouver. This weekend is typical September weather. Chilly mornings and hot afternoons.

With my girls back in school and their activities, I find myself rushing around like a chicken with my head cut off most of the time. While I always ensure they have a healthy lunch and snacks packed, sometimes I don’t put the same effort into my own meals. But that’s why I love quick options like this. It takes 5 minutes to make, and tastes really good. Plus, I can throw it in a to-go cup and bring it along in the car.
